The Theatre Royal is the world famous 1860s musical theatre pethatrforms in Barkerville every summer. Wells Community Hall Conference Centre
The Wells Community Hall received an "A" rating of the heritage inventory completed in 1983. It is a "one of" building in British Columbia. It is the only extant building of its type and size from the era of the ‘company town’ remaining in British Columbia and presents the finest construction and detailing. Wells Curling Club
Although the Wells Curling Club has been around since the 1930's, the rink itself is a modern building with two sheets of ice. The Club hosts a number of bonspiels throughout the year and the building is available for rental for private functions. Wells Museum
The town of Wells has one of the most interesting histories of any town in Canada. Like its famous neighbour Barkerville, Wells was built around the discovery of gold. Formed as a company town by the Cariboo Gold Quartz Company, and named after Fred Wells, a prospector who rediscovered gold in the area and started the region's second gold rush, Wells has a fascinating history.
